Please send an email to go@outfoxing.com to let us know that you're coming (or if you've changed your mind). Do this as soon as you know you're coming and/or as soon as you change your mind. If possible, mail us a check beforehand or bring one with you. It will be difficult if not impossible for us to accept cash or credit cards. Since the building opens immediately prior to the first round we want to have all of the player information entered so that we can make pairings as quickly as possible. The information we need is:

  • name (as AGA knows it)
  • AGA number
  • rank at which you plan to enter
  • Directions and parking:

There is no major sporting event on campus this weekend!

Directions to the University of Maryland:

  • official directions from the University web site.
  • Google maps
  • Metro: We are on the green line (College Park station) and MARC. The university's Shuttle-UM buses pick up university-bound passengers on the EAST side of the metrorail station.

Food at and near the University of Maryland

  • Housing: Various groups on campus have created web pages listing local hotels or providing other useful information for visitors. Some of the best are here:
    International Visitors Guide
Center for Scientific Computation and Mathematical Modeling
Astronomy  (with clickable map, but don't be confused; our tournament is in the student union on campus Drive!)

    Parking:
The tournament is being held in the Stamp Student Union. There is paid parking directly across the street (Union Lane). To get to this from Campus Dr. (coming from Rt. 1), turn right on Union Lane, just after the Student Union, and then left into parking. There is also free parking in Lot 1 (continue west of the Student Union along campus drive, past Cole Field House). There are other options; please read the signs to determine whether you can park where you choose to park. You may want to consult addtional information from the University of Maryland Visitor Services on parking.

This tournament is sponsored by the University of Maryland Go Club.
