Directions to the University of Maryland:

Metro: We are on the green line (College Park station) and MARC. The university's Shuttle-UM bus (104) leaves the College Park Metro station at 9:10 and 9:30. The "Stamp Student Union - Lot HH" stop is near to H.J. Patterson Hall.

Food at and near the University of Maryland

Lodging: If you come from out of town, you can probably find affordable lodging near campus. Various groups on campus have created web pages listing local hotels or providing other useful information for visitors. Some of the best are here:
The University Visitors Guide lists hotels (pdf).
Center for Scientific Computation and Mathematical Modeling
Astronomy  (with a clickable map, but don't be confused; our tournament is in H.J. Patterson Hall on campus Drive!)

Parking (official campus visitor parking information):
There is paid parking nearby (in the Union Lane garage). To get to this from route 1 and Campus Dr., turn right on Union Lane, just after the Student Union, and then left into parking. There is also free parking in Lot 1 (continue west of the Student Union along campus drive). There are many other parking options on campus. Park where you like, but please read the signs to be sure you can park where you choose to park; they do ticket. My own map and UM visitor information are available.

This tournament is sponsored by the University of Maryland Go Club.
