2006 Philadelphia Sakura Festival
On April 9, 2006, the Penn Go Society was invited to take part in the 9th Annual Philadelphia Cherry Blossom Festival. This was the first time our club participated in such an event, and it was so successful an outing that we were invited back for Philadelphia's Celebrate Japan day on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
Thank you to all of the volunteers of the Penn Go Society who took the time out to come help teach, and thanks to all those who turned out to play!
